This was my first colonoscopy at the age of 49 and all things considered, it went quite well. The prep was terrible but the procedure itself was fast and easy. Overall I'm very, very happy I did it and encourage more people to get theirs done if they're worried about it. Please don't slack on it! My dad was diagnosed with stage 3b colon cancer at the age of 68. I've been with him through it from the diagnosis to now 6 years after his surgery and he's still in remission as far as his blood work continues to show.
